VESISMIN HEALTH TEAMS WITH HONEYWELL FOR NONFLAMMABLE DISINFECTANT TO TREAT CORONAVIRUS AFFECTED SURFACES1

Innovative disinfecting aerosol incorporates Honeywell’s Solstice Propellant ultra-low-global-warming-potential technology to sanitize closed spaces

Honeywell today announced a collaboration with Vesismin Health for a simple-to-use, non-flammable and environmentally preferable solution to treat areas affected by coronaviruses and other infectious microorganisms.

Vesismin, which specializes in infection prevention and hospital disinfection, has incorporated Honeywell’s proprietary hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) ultra-low global-warming-potential technology into its NDP Air Total + Green CE broad-spectrum disinfectant aerosol.

The solution uses Honeywell’s nonflammable Solstice Propellant (HFO-1234ze) to disperse broad-spectrum disinfectant against bacteria, fungi and viruses quickly and efficiently with a one-shot aerosol fogger. The nontoxic disinfectant is dispersed in hospitals and other enclosed areas, such as vehicles, offices, labs, waiting rooms, changing rooms, studios and fitness centers with minimal impact to the environment.

The NDP Air Total + Green CE is compatible with all types of materials and electronic components and the one-shot function allows the user to spray and leave the area after activating the disinfectant.

The NDP Air Total + Green CE disinfects against the following infectious microorganisms:

• Bacteria
• Mycobacteria
• Fungi
• Viruses, including H1N1, influenza surrogated virus for lipophilic viruses (Ebola, Coronavirus, Flu, Hepatitis, HIV).
