Honeywell has been at the forefront of blowing agent technology for decades. In 2014, Honeywell introduced Solstice® Liquid Blowing Agent (based on hydrofluoro-olefin technology) as an alternative to HFCs, offering improved foam performance and an ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) of 1. Solstice Gas Blowing Agent (GWP<1), is ideal for one and two-component low-pressure SPF systems. Enovate® 245fa (HFC-245fa) has long been considered the standard in the spray foam industry.
